Ithaca, New York

Noting soil conditions, existing vegetation, and thinking creatively about what the changing climate means for the area’s tree canopy, a holistic masterplan was developed to help the community continue as stewards of their property and plant with the future in mind.

Each area required a unique palette and approach, given the varying moisture levels and soil conditions. Shown below are a few of the diagrams and palettes that made up the overall set of suggestions provided.
