A multi-stage design challenge, Roger’s Peak is both a future home-landscape and an exercise in ecological forestry. A historically logged mountainside, the slopes are rife with important native plant species that have started returning in recent years. Over the course of the next several years, GBRLD is working with homeowners and foresters to carve a home into the mountain while encouraging more and more biological diversity.
